Nesta, in collaboration with Picture Zero, are hosting a Free Greener Homes TV Briefing exclusively for BFDG members.

The concept of ‘home’ is powerful and plays an important role in all forms of storytelling, particularly on television and in film. How these stories are told will inevitably need to reflect the changes on the home front as the green agenda emerges and consumer demand and government legislation shifts. Understanding these changes and new green technologies, how they look and fit into our modern lifestyle, incorporating them into productions and telling stories about reducing carbon in the home more creatively and effectively will become an ever bigger part of the TV and film design process.

The aim of the briefing is to provide impartial information to the TV and film sector, inspiring and supporting the industry to create the best, most distinctive, most engaging and entertaining ideas around greener, more sustainable living for everyone.
